Environmentalist Steff McDermott’s Favorite Lionfish Recipe

I had the honor of interviewing Caymanian Steff McDermot, who is Lionfish Spearer and Hunter using scuba equipment. Lionfish University field reporter Roger J. Muller, Jr., asks Steff what her favorite Lionfish recipe is. Steff, who works in a Grand Cayman restaurant, gives up her secret Lionfish recipe.

Eating lionfish will help protect the reefs! The reefs are in pretty bad shape because there aren’t enough fish out there.

This is one interview of three that Steff was being interviewed. During this interview, I also learned that Steff’s Grandfather is in the Scuba Hall of Fame. We made a third video about Cayman Islands lionfish hunting.
