The Lionfish population is growing at such an exponential rate that it is imperative that every person do what they can to prevent additional invasive species from entering the North American waters and to impede the population growth as much as possible. Remember, these animals have no known natural predators, so human intervention is the only hope to bring the ecosystem back into balance.
