X DIVE MX was born in 2012 in CDMX. Armando is the founder of this project that seeks to create new divers who are aware of the ecological problems that affect our seas and who develop the necessary skills to practice diving in a safe and sustainable manner, always respecting the ecosystems we visit.

Your latest endeavors and where they take place: Breaking myths around sharks all around Mexico. Showing footage, adventures and our mission with the new generations trough the culture and other exciting ways.
In these 10 years working in Mexican seas, 4 of them were dedicated to working on Liveaboard boats in the islands of the Revillagigedo Archipelago, diving with the great white shark in Isla Guadalupe and touring the entire Sea of Cortez. In these years he became an expert in the behavior of sharks, as well as witnessing the serious danger they face. He has participated in conservation projects tagging sharks in the Pacific and supporting organizations like Pelagios Kakunjá.
He is the founder of the program #Luchaporlaconservación that seeks to bring all children and young people the wonders of marine ecosystems through an important part of Mexican culture such as wrestling.
What efforts are you most proud of? Changing the way others see sharks, from thinking they are dangerous to make them see how gorgeous they are.
Anything else you’d like us to know? Armando has practiced sports all his life, from professional soccer, mountaineering, canyoning, climbing and fully dedicated to diving since 2010. He is passionate about nature and animals.
